Description
Iris and Victor find each other at a moment when they needed companionship most. Their parents have died, leaving them behind to a town wreaked by plague. They have nothing left but their newly forged friendship.
The children leave for the city of West Arcanshire, but find trouble quickly when Victor leaves the path in search of food. He finds a farmhouse hidden deep in the woods which belongs to the decrepit Old Crone and her hulking son The Butcher. They soon learn that what cooks in the kitchen is not meant for them, rather they are meant for it.
As the corruption of the adult world comes to a reckoning, the hopeful spirit of children will quickly turn to revenge in this gothic fairytale.
